Smith and Sons Electric completed 2 projects under this contract at Washington Hospital. The first project was the High-Tech Open Heart Operating Room and the Packer Nursery. These projects had many challenges and coordination issues due to the restrictions placed upon us due to the crucial Life Safety issues surrounding a operating hospital.

Project Description:
Washington Hospital is located in Fremont, California, this particular facility was designed as a 300,000 square foot satellite out-patient care facility. Smith and Sons Electric installed new transformers, switch gear, life safety systems, mechanical equipment, site lighting, power, building lights and a 700' walk-over bridge to their main hospital facility.

This facility for Alameda County is situated in the Fairmont Hospital Complex in San Leandro, California. It is a complete live-in, educational, detention facility for young substance abusers. Smith and Sons Electric furnished the complete building power, lighting, fire alarm systems, nurse's call system and security system for this project.
