Administrative/Accounting Assistant
Established mid-sized Electrical Contractor is seeking a qualified individual to fill our administrative/accounting assistant position.
Location: Fremont, CA
Responsible To: Controller
Hours: Full-Time, but would consider Part-Time
Requirements:
-
Accounts payable experience
-
Construction accounting/administration experience is a plus
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office
-
Certified payroll experience is preferred
-
Experience in Viewpoint-ProContractor accounting software is a plus
-
Personable, approachable with a positive attitude
-
Able to exercise good judgment by recognizing urgency & setting priorities
-
Strong time management skills, organizational skills, attention to detail & a high level of accuracy

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Be available for 2 interviews
Responsibilities:
-
Accounts payable data entry
-
Certified payroll
-
Submit prequalification packages to school districts and cities
-
Incoming and outgoing mail
-
Answer phones
-
Pickup lunch for the office
-
Greet clients & visitors
-
Support Controller/Accounting Manager as needed
-
Perform various administrative duties (i.e. typing, filing, tracking purchases, etc.)
