The 39 million dollar library is a 2-story, 60,000 square foot new building encompassing the historic grammar school at 160 N. Main Street in its design. The school was built in 1916 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Smith & Sons Electric installed the Lutron EcoSystem lighting control system comprised of digital dimming ballasts, controls and environmental sensors, working together to save electricity, increase space flexibility, increase occupant comfort and productivity, and reduce maintenance costs.
